Please mark your calendars for the the 2026 CCCA Regional Assembly! Dinner on Friday, October 16, will feature a keynote by Reverend Terri Hord Owens, General Minister and President of the CC(DOC) in the United States and Canada. The planning committee is developing a program of educational, service, worship, business, and fellowship events for all ages.

The registration fee for adults is $100. There is no charge for children under 18. Please click the button below to register for the assembly!
Assembly Background
The Regional Assembly is held every two years to transact the business of the Region and provide programs for worship and education. Depending on size, each congregation is entitled to four or more voting representatives, at least one of whom shall be under 21 years of age. In addition, all ministers with standing in the Region, all members of the CCCA Board of Directors, and the chair of the Nominating Committee have full voting rights.

Session 1 - Faith & Politics: The 2026 Midterm Elections
Led by Ken Brooker Langston (Disciples Center for Public Witness) and Brian Frederick-Gray (Director of Justice and Advocacy Ministries, Disciples Home Missions)
In this workshop, we will discuss why people of faith should be actively engaged in civic life, public witness, and the democratic process: and also how, when, and where congregations and other ministries can in nonpartisan and helpful ways contribute to the education, motivation, and active participation of people of faith in the electoral process.Session 2 - How Can Pension Fund Support Your Ministry?

This workshop will provide attendees with practical resources that will equip them to identify and respond to natural/climate and immigration enforcement-related disasters via relational asset mapping, community building, and organizing. Attendees will gain awareness of denominational supports during times of crisis and will explore examples of how Disciples congregations have responded creatively to disasters in their local contexts. -

Session 1 - Immigration: Welcoming the Stranger, Loving Our Neighbor
Led by Brian Frederick-Gray, Director of Justice and Advocacy Ministries, Disciples Home Missions
In this workshop, we will examine and discuss faithful and practical responses to the crucial issues of immigration: the brutal and indiscriminate war on immigrants and peaceful protesters, the separation of families and disappearance of family members, the inhumane treatment of those who are disappeared, detained, and deported. We will also explore possibilities and resources for immigrant protection in our congregations and our communities.Session 2 - Perfecting Ministry for Financial Breakthrough
Hosted by Richard Williams, Disciples Church Extension Fund
In this workshop, we will discuss how a strong financial vision (both short and long-term) is dependent upon perfecting all phases of ministry. We will show how proper governance, administrative, organizational, and worship practices work hand-in-hand to ensure your ministry is able to thrive, both in the present and in the future! -

A conversation on becoming a flourishing church, based upon a recently published book. It draws on interviews, personal observations, and the shared experiences of laity and clergy from nine denominations. The authors are members of a local book club, Sisters Sippin Tea. -

Guest music coordinator Victor Simonson;
Keynote Speaker Kai Causion Rock, 18 years old, speaking on their 65-mile walk along the Camino de Santiago in Spain;
and youth musical talent featuring a violinist and organist.
