Seminarians Under Care

Persons in seminary or otherwise seeking ordination in the Christian Church (Disciples Of Christ) in the Capital Area Region who are members of a Christian Church congregation in the Capital Area Region may request to come under the care of the Commission of Ministry of the Capital Area Region of the Christian Church by contacting  the Regional Minister, Rev. Dr. Marcus Leathers by email, who will then, if appropriate,  forward your contact to the Director of the Commission for Ministry.

Seminarians under care with the Capital Area,  are a part of the CCCA Minister’s Association and are encouraged to participate in its clergy gatherings, educational opportunities, and retreats.  Through the CCCA Minister’s Association, seminarians under care may be paired with tenured ordained clergy who can serve as mentors. <insert hyperlink to the Ministers’ Association page>.
