A Checkup with Dr. Dunn

Join our Acting Regional Minister, Rev. Dr. Marshall Dunn, as he guides ministers and congregational leaders through a fun, interactive "checkup" on your church's health. Dr. Dunn will lead your congregation through a process of discovery, celebrating your congregation's strengths, examining areas for growth, and strategizing for greater health. The workshop begins at 10:00 AM and is open to every Disciples congregation in the Capital Area.

North Chevy Chase Christian Church is located at 8814 Kensington Parkway, Chevy Chase, MD. The church is just off the Connecticut Ave exit on the north Beltway.

The event ends at 12:00 PM -- feel free to schedule lunch with your congregational leaders to continue the discussion following the event!

On Saturday, March 8th, at 7.45 pm, at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center in Alexandria, VA (in the Arbors Room), there will be a special event for Disciples and UCC from across the nation.  The main speaker will be Dr. Michael Kinnamon, General Secretary of the National Council of Churches.  Other speakers include:  Rev. Michael Paige from Michigan Park and Rev. Noemi Mena from National City.  All local Disciples and UCC are invited to this free event.  Light food and drink will be provided.  An offering will be taken.  Please RSVP to DAWN at dawnccca@comcast.net.
